Drive the Prius and then kick yourself for not taking the S when you are in Florida and want the top down experience of your S. Or better yet, open your wallet and ship your S to FL and drive the Prius down and back and have the best of both worlds.

If you're going to carry valuables in the car, the Prius is a little harder to break into than the S. I can't comment on the rest of the state, but car break-ins have been on the rise here in central FL, particularly in the tourist hotspots.

Not FL, but here in NOVA, someone stole *stock* wheels off an AP2 the other day. What's that about???

I think the Prius will be more comfortable and carry more stuff. I'd love to do a drive like this in the S but it gets difficult to bring everything with you.

Drive the S. There is plenty of room in the trunk for what you need for a week. I did it for four years straight and wouldn't have it any other way. Once you hit the sun you will want the top down all of the time.

Good idea, but I bet that costs more than the gas difference between driving the Prius and the S. Possibly, not for the frugal ones.

I actually thought about this, but we had already made plans to visit friends, favorite cousin and former neighbors along the way....

Seems to me you answered your own question
Exactly how much fun would that Toyota thing be doing that........

No no, can't clip that apex and power out to the track out point, we have to save gas...................
