Driving to FLORIDA....
Drive the Prius and then kick yourself for not taking the S when you are in Florida and want the top down experience of your S. Or better yet, open your wallet and ship your S to FL and drive the Prius down and back and have the best of both worlds.
If you're going to carry valuables in the car, the Prius is a little harder to break into than the S. I can't comment on the rest of the state, but car break-ins have been on the rise here in central FL, particularly in the tourist hotspots.
Drive the S. There is plenty of room in the trunk for what you need for a week. I did it for four years straight and wouldn't have it any other way. Once you hit the sun you will want the top down all of the time.
Get the best of both: Take the S on the Auto Train

^Yeah...what was I thinking?
I forgot the audience. Get the best of both: Take the S on the Auto Train
I actually thought about this, but we had already made plans to visit friends, favorite cousin and former neighbors along the way.... Who would want to miss the scenic beauty of I-95 whizzing thru NC, SC, GA and northern FL
Exactly how much fun would that Toyota thing be doing that........
No no, can't clip that apex and power out to the track out point, we have to save gas...................
