that reminds me, my phone wants to update.
I wouldn't let it do it while I was traveling.

I just got the Razr Maxx. It's a little big, like a small TV on my hip, since it's a little big for pocket storage, but it's fast.

I suspect the Maxx to be in my future. My droid X is getting tired and having odd display issues.

I have had it off charge since this AM, and have used it as normal all day and battery life is still at 80%, but it is a little big. 4G is crazy fast, compared to 3G. It'll be at SF, if you would like to check it out without the "help" of a sales guy.

One of my partners got that Razr and is very happy with it. He downloaded 20 apps on the first day. He likes the translator

I'm thinking of picking up one of these for myself. How easy is the virtual keyboard to use? I've always had phones with slide-out keyboards, but I don't think I want the Droid 4. I need something with a good battery life.

I have gotten very used to it. I really like the Android 4.0.4 (ICS) operating system, and the battery is quite stout. It's really not unusual to end the day with 50% or more battery.

Thanks. I just got word that Droid 4 is in the process of being upgraded to ICS this month. I can pick up two Droid 4s for $98, as opposed to $398 for two Rzr Maxx phones. And I get to keep my keyboard.

seriously think about the maxx dean. the battery life is great.
it really can go two days of use without a charge. great for the occasional forget to plug in moment.

Too late. I already ordered Droid 4s. I'm not a heavy user, but if battery life becomes an issue I'll buy a spare.
