Default Dusting around the office...

So I was dusting a little bit in my office and decided to share an image with everyone. This is in direct line of sight from my desk. The Manifesto reminds me to live a little and the little pics remind me of how much fun it is when I do. :-D

What is this "dusting" of which you speak?

Love it, Murph. It'll mean more and more as you grow older. Life is short. Love it, live it and don't sweat the silly crap.

Very nice Roseanne ,

Funny I was having a conversation about this just last night with a friend about doing what you are passionate about. Several beers later and a couple of other folks at the bar were somehow included in our conversation . Amazing that most people really hate what they do and that just seeps into other parts of their lives.

Every couple of years I pick a new activity that I think I would like to try and give it a go. I started mountain biking about 5 years ago and after about a year and several trips to the Urgent Care I got pretty good at. The new one is learning to ice skate I want to get at least as good as my son and maybe play some pickup hockey.

Gotta keep it interesting and have goals!

These are great words of wisdom. Thanks for sharing. If I could find three of them, I'd first give one to each of my children, and hang one to remind myself to stay this course, least I ever stray. Life is good, so live it and enjoy it. It is short, so make the most of each day.

I could just have so much fun poking at this sentence... :-D

More seriously though, I didn't find this in a store. I downloaded the image online, re-sized it so that when I printed it out it would fit an 8x10 frame, trimmed off the edges of the 8.5x11 sheet, then framed it. :-D There are two (that I know of) formats for it. I actually prefer the poster format because it's more free-form jumble and lets your eyes focus on things more on their own, but that's just my preference. Sadly, I didn't end up using that format though because the quality level of the image I found at the time ended up not high enough res for print. So I ended up with the one with the spacing bars in it. Anyway, it's called the Holstee Manifesto.

Thanks Roseanne. I found a printable version and will follow up the next time I'm more awake. Today, I've been awake since 2:30 this morning, so I'm a bit tired right now. Good night, all.
