Hey, so did I. I missed the Northridge one because we (kids and ex) were up at Kennedy Meadows and drove home the same day. I felt the aftershocks though and that was scary enough.

So I paid my rent today (left a check on the landlady's door) and I put a note in with it, saying if I am not home by the 11th there is a problem and that I was leaving information about who to contact on my kitchen table.

She sent me an email asking if I was overly worried about flying OR the people I was visiting

I just told her it made me feel better to know that SOMEONE would actually miss me if I didn't get home when I'm supposed to
