Plans suck, plural.

Everyone has to be insured. No insurance, there is now a penalty per month. Proof of insurance is required when you file the state tax return. Low/no income some free plans....bit more income and no insurance from the job, or unaffordable premiums at work, you get to select from several options. Most allow a few preventative visits, but have fairly large deductibles for the unexpected. Doubtful most of the folks on these plans have the $ in the bank to pay for the deductible, but at least the hospital is not eating the entire bill.

I looked at the plans for our place of employment since small businesses have so few choices at an extremely high cost...not impressed. In the long run,however I guess it IS a start.

With Bass subsidizing the uninsured/underinsured by paying tax on his "smokes" we're good for a while.

 

You were worried about her? Was she upset about the non event?
