Yes. But I prefer to watch them in Vintage racing at Road America, the Glen, etc. then to see them spit-polished on a grassy field.

Moving or standing still and shining in the sun, I love looking at classic euro cars. I got a chance to go to the Amelia Island Concourse once when I lived in Jacksonville. Don't get to see many of the Euro classics here on the Gulf Coast, though.

I'm into them big time. I'm hoping to be able to go to the Montery Pebble beach events some year as well as Amelia Island. We have a concours here that I try to attend every year its the Greenwich Concours in greenwich CT it's coming up June 5th&6th.
Any of you who are into the classic euro cars should check out the show on HD theatre t.v. called chasing classic cars.

HDT does have some interesting stuff. I tired very quickly of the 'chaser' shows.

I could replay my Euro Classic dashboards and marques from Zippo at The Glen in 2008, but no one would be interested. Here's a sample:

I always preferred the big Jensen interceptor to the convertible.

or the looks of a SL280 with pagoda hardtop..
and I wouldn't complain if a 300sl or 190sl gullwing showed up in my collection.

late 50's were ok and 60's were nice.
much before that for the most part they hadn't developed the beautiful lines influenced by functional aero work.

didn't anybody else happen to see the Ralph Lauren collection?

I actually just moved from greenwich, and went to the car show every year. Actually moved down to florida so Ameila will be a reguluar for me now. My father goes to all of these events as its his bussiness. He actually had his on show in Central Park at the Wallman Rink.

He also had a couple cars showing in Greenwich Concours as well, an X13 Jag, Shelby Cobra, 300 SL Gullwing over the years, and his after party (lamborghini, m3 cop cars, gt3's)

I would deffianitly recommend going to Monterey Historics as it is the NUMBER ONE classic car show in all of america, and people enthusiats come fromall over the world for that.
Its a three day car event(s) with more things to do than you can manage on time. Laguna Seca races, 5 car shows, some running AT the same time...
Its crazy, you simply cannot see everything.
If you want me to i cant post a couple of videos of the races at laguna seca.

Here's a link to my the family's website. Just brokered the Kroyman collection of close to 30 million dollars, took over a year for him to put together.

I can't imagine owning a really Exotic car. Where do you drive it? Of course you can say....... If you can afford it, you can afford to drive it anywhere you want. But if you really love cars, as I do, I would be going nuts over simple things - Where to park it? If you do leave it, will it be there when you come back? Who can you trust to do work on it? On, and on. OMG, they are lovely to look at and often a great investment but beyond that... like I said, I can't imagine owning one and truly enjoying it like it was ment to be driven. Quess I'm just not rich enough. That's why I love seeing them on track!!

BTW, I've been to Meadow Brook a few times.

Sorry Jerry but a Jensen Healey is about as classic as an MG Magnet.
