I think there are some drivers that are harder on their car than others.
Kimi early in his career had an awful time with his mclaren while his team mate didn't.
Max might be in that class. Maybe they just push it a little more and that's why they are quick but pay for it with reliability.

Snoozeville this week. Indy Car last week was much better. Now to watch Indy Car from this week.

I would have loved to see it rain but I didn't think it was snoozeville. That's a true race track. Several areas for passing if you've got the car and a very demanding track for the engineers to set up the car. It isn't always wheel-to-wheel that makes a race. Indy 500 is like that for me as well. The track is often a bigger challenge than other drivers.

Indycar last week was good, and I normally hate ovals but that one had lots of action beyond driving in circles.

it's been reported that both Mercedes and Ferrari are loading the war chest to sign Verstappen.
I could see Hamilton retire after next year and hand the reins to Young max.
