F1 2018-2019
I don't follow F1 at all, but I thought this was interesting: Fans lambaste ESPN's debut F1 broadcast Autoweek

Unlike so many of those fans I guess I don't have to be spoon feed what's happening since I have eyes. Maybe if they attended more races live they would realize if you pay attention you see what's happening. I do agree there was room for improvement.

Come on Bill, don;t get it moved to politics!!
Even ESPN apologized for their broadcast. They obviously just retransmit the BBC version.
Then they just made the blind cuts to commercials with no segway, or followup
worse was their timing sucked, the announcers didn't have any followup cues to what happened while they were gone.
gee a car is coasting to the side of the course..... WTF???

According to FORBES, ESPN got a sweetheart deal to broadcast F1.

The article basically said that ESPN doesn't pay any 'rights fees' to broadcast Formula 1.
