Fall Colors countdown....
Ok kids, just under 3 days to go. Time for the final countdown. I got my tour group leader info yesterday. Got my directions to the Mall from Rob. Got Dave's list of vintage members. Got my two way radios. About 20 vintage CDs packed already.
Tomorrow night I do an oil change and pack the car for the autocross.
Thursday I pack clothes for the weekend AND clothes for the following week in New York City where I will be all week on a case. Glad I'm coming alone cause I'll need the passenger's seat for this trip.
Something to think about: traveling alone? Wouldn't hurt to have one or more member's cell phone numbers. If you need one, post here and someone from your area can pm with a cell number.
Tip for the day: Before you leave, check your tires for air pressure (32 psi) AND check your spare!!!

Good advice about checking your tires but not just for pressure. My guys at the dealership where I was having it detailed noticed a nail in one of my tires that couldn't be seen without being put on the rack. After heaving a sigh of relief, I went home and finshed packing, got my headset with mike since I may be traveling alone too, plus all the other suggested stuff (except a cell phone). I DO believe the "kid" is ready. T minus what?

Second tip of the second day. Check your oil at every fill up. If you are partial to a certain brand, bring a quart as you may not be able to find it at the gas station. Have napkins or paper towels to clean the dip stick.
