The Fall Offensive
Just finished the 75 mile Bike To Bay MS ride with my best time ever. 4.5 hours, avg speed 16.8mph, 15-20mph headwind. Burned 2700 calories. This ride raised over 1mil for MS (most important data) and our team was the 2nd highest fundraiser at over 10K. Taking a nap after some brews.
Great work out and great cause. Good for you.
And we're off!!!
The morning weigh in was not quite as bad as I feared; 164.5. I'm up about six pounds from my low earlier this spring/summer. My initial goal is to lose about 10 pounds. Today I had a nice seared ahi tuna salad for lunch. I hope that holds me over until dinner. I hope to get on the treadmill and put in an hour of time, even if I am not going very fast. I'll need to work my way back up to 4.5 miles a night, but I hope to hit 3.5 today. Then I'd like to do some lifting, but probably only one set of exercises. I think I'll list the exercises, wieghts used and number of reps and sets as I go along. The idea is to make myself more consistent by being more accountable.
I hope you are all doing well on your respective plans/programs and lifestyles. Please share what you are doing.
