Birds are showing up in Loveland, CO and not just the black eyed juncos. I hear them now when I go outside. Yay! My feeder is up but I'll be taking it down when I leave for California on Friday. The wind can get ferocious here and it blew my feeder off the chain last time it got bad. I've been sprinkling feed on my deck so Leo can watch the birds closer. I hope to add some good bird photos in the future.

Through the window, across the yard and heavily cropped. Feeders were VERY busy today. I got to see lots of activity after work. I still can't get a photo of male cardinal that I'm happy with. Maybe when I can hide in the yard vs taking shots through the window.

This decoy feeder for the squirrels seems to work well.

I miss the squirrels. We don’t have any around us.

I'll ship up the 6-8 that we have to you!

Rodents with long tails is all they are!

But they are entertaining at times, chasing each other around, also trying to figure out how to get to the bird feeders....

Missed an opportunity to catch a good squirrel photo this AM. He/she was right outside the kitchen window getting to the suet. Lots of activity at the feeders. Re-filling them often.

Have a couple or wrens hanging around. Spring must be here!

Saw a bluejay outside the condo the other day. Always like those sightings because we don't see them that often around here. We do get lots of robins and cardinals, the other harbingers of spring.

I love the Carolina Wren. They used to be a frequent visitor to the suet in the wintertime, but I've only seen them once this year. They have such a beautiful little song.
