I normally only feel old when I look in the mirror and sometimes, not even then. But I really feel old when I see what's happening at 3-day concert just down the road from me.

 

We all used to be that young.... sometime!

 

We are now "them." Them, who were not part of us, so long ago.

I just turned 59 last month, and sometimes I do feel old, other times not so much. I think that I've turned the corner on staying up all night, even to party with friends as we do at the annual National Square Dance Convention. This year, at about 2:30 a.m. - 3:00 a.m., I decided that the all night party was better left to the younger generation. I needed my beauty sleep.

 

It happens!

 

I think beauty sleep is over rated or I must be doing it wrong.
I'm still as ugly as the day is long.

I'm getting old and I know, I just refuse to admit it. I have been called Peter Pan at least twice in the last 6 months, but I do admit that my partying does tend a bit earlier these days.

 

I guess one is old when partying time includes little cat naps.

 

I was watching t.v. the other night and saw an actor who was popular in the 80's and I think is close to my age and I was wondering why they had him in old man makeup then I realized it wasn't makeup he and I are getting old!
