We're still here. I ran some errands, not much else today. Rick and I both came down with a cold, slept poorly and I had zero energy. He made some soup, later this afternoon, we took the P car for a short ride, went for a walk at the local reservoir, came home and ate soup.

Please do. For example, I called Mark M, who had high ratings on Angies List. He said he no longer works on 2-stories. He recommended Fred Schewda. Fred was to come out Friday morning. When he didn't show or call, I called him. Seems he was going camping and would be here Tuesday morning. No show and no call on Tuesday, so I called him and left a message. No reply and that was yesterday. I do have someone coming Friday; of course, he was originally to be here last week but had a family emergency or so he said.

One of issues, separate from the painting is I'd like to find someone who bends metal as well. I have some exposed areas of wood that I would like aluminum sided. Fred said he did both.

Yeah, I love to get some names and also who you used if you were satisfied. Thanks Sam.

I don't think it would be on the New York Times best seller list, but I'm sure everybody here in Vintage would buy a copy.
Rob, I already wrote a book or two. I put together a 234 page book on the S2000! Here's the index:

What was frustrating was I did it in a word program that was not compatible with programs offered for the iMac. I did a conversion into Word for Mac but it never came out very well.

We eat out about 3 times a week on average. Even that gets old due to the selections. Last week it was Thur, Fri, and Sun. How often do you guys eat out?

Usually once or twice a week. That's generally enough. One tends to eat more calories when eating out (more temptations on the menu). So if trying to watch your weight/lose weight, eating out can hinder those efforts.

The above "suggestion" was offered tongue in cheek but maybe there is something to it.
Sitting on the back porch watching birds is ok for a period of time but I enjoy sitting outside, especially when there's a fire. These cooler evenings are great for that - I have a portable fire pit that I can have going nicely within 15 minutes, lots of wood, dogs & buns on standby, bourbon on standby, wife's iPad with Pandora, a couple of chairs and table, and enough tall trees around to simulate being up north. In fact, that's my plan for later tonight.

You make me miss country life, Dave. And by the way, bourbon pairs surprisingly well with smores.

My youngest has #40 coming up and is trying to decide if it will be in Traverse City (MI), Key Largo, or NO. If it is NO, we are going to get together, if I have to crash your house.
