Default Flabbergasted

The 1st known use of the word was in 1772 and the origin is unknown. I was flabbergasted to discover this.

Your turn. Got any words to share?

Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious doesn't count

This one first appeared in 1852 in a pro slavery novel written to counter Uncle Tom's Cabin.

I hope I'm not making you feel discombobulated.

You left out “dis” after “anti.”
And Emil the spelling is “copasetic.”

I always liked the word “obfuscation.” And the phrase “eschew obfuscation.”

Antidisantiestablishmentarianism is a term that evolved over the fight about which religion would be the Church of England. The Scots split with the British over it.

How about syzyrgy?

Antiestablishmentarianism is a political philosophy that views a nation’s power structure as corrupt, repressive, exploitive, etc. It is also a term for a policy or attitude that opposes or challenges the established institutions or authorities1. The term is derived from the word “establishment,” which refers to the existing political and social order
