Thanks for letting us know. It's hard to believe it's been that long since he had posted. He had so many health issues and seemed to be able to still find humor in the situation.
I hate to hear of the passing of yet another one of our members. Time marches on a bit too fast these days.
In January 2013 Grant bought my S2000 Memorabilia Collection:
· Seventy six (76) die cast and plastic models ($828 invested)
· Fifty six brochures (56) with samples from US, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom (one rare one was selling for $90)
· Six dozen postcards
· Four books (two from Japan and entirely in Japanese)
· Two Factory service manuals
· Twenty five (25) factory technical reference papers
· 494 magazine and newspaper articles
· One dealer poster
· CD with a collection of technical drawings
· Misc S2000 items – air gauge, ball cap, pens, etc.
· CD with a 327 page reference book put together by me for my personal use
Total shipping weighed in at 138 pounds.
Here's a thread he posted after receiving it all. To this day I am puzzled I never received so much as a simple Thank You from the Collier Museum.
I never bothered to follow up.
