Koogle (I think that is the right spelling) - basically a flavour peanut-butter type spread. I don't even want to think about what it was made from....
Still can't stand brussel sprouts.....

you guys are allowing yourselves to grow old way too quick, it was only last week when I had my last peanut butter and fluff sandwich, I love peanut butter...
I do remember the Space Food Sticks, they were nasty, thank goodness there was Tang to wash them down with.
I guess for me the first thing that comes to mind is something I have had a craving for, for over a year. Even though I'm way more aware of my health and what foods I should avoid, I still can't get over this desire. Hmmm, maybe I should just break down and have one... A big slice of Liverwurst on Pumpernickel bread with hot mustard and Swiss cheese.
And Matrix you kill me, of the few foods I know I don't like brussel sprouts are near the top of the list along with Parsnips, Turnips.

Some foods I associate with my youth are:
California Casserole made by my mother. It was basically cube steak, gravy, and pearl onions baked in the oven with dumplings on the top.
Little cream cheese and pimento cheese sandwiches made by my aunt in eastern NC. She also made Southern dishes like chicken and pastry. And dove stew and quail that my uncle hunted. And fish we caught - perch mainly. And of course I ate alot of barbecue, hush puppies, cole slaw, collard greens, and banana pudding.

The City Chicken we ate was made from veal and pork.
I know what peanut butter is, like all kids I had more than my share and actually still love it, but what is "fluff". I'm quessing marshmellows?
The one sandwich that I really long for is BLTs, but bacon seldom agrees with me anymore.

1) noodles , cottage cheese and butter -- with Breakstone large curd california cottage cheese -- the best !!
2) Take fresh white bread - take off the crust all around, and fold-crush, fold crush the bread over and over until is it a small flat square -- then chew it.
3) glazed orange donuts from Mr. Donuts (no longer around).
4) HAMBURGERS lots and lots of hamburgers
