Friday night
I like Fridays. Friday nights are kind of special in my book. The retired folks around here may not feel the same way about Fridays as they used to, but I'd guess they remember when Friday night meant something special.
If you work a Monday through Friday work week, Friday mornings come and you might feel a little lighter load. You might be looking forward to two days to recharge your batteries. Friday night you head home from work, maybe you go out to eat, maybe you go out and kick up your heels a bit, or maybe you just stay home.
Just the fact that I don't have to set an alarm clock or wake up at 6:15 AM the next day makes Fridays pretty special to me. Almost as relaxing as sitting on a beach with my toes in the sand............well not quite, but close.

Back in the early and mid 90's I looked forward to doing Friday Happy Hours with a group of friends that varied in size from about ten to thirty on any given Friday. Between the .8 BAC and the fact that people moved on with their lives that no longer happens for me.
So I come home from work on Fridays and sometimes drown four olives in my Bombay Sapphire Martini. With that stated, if you care too on Friday evenings about 18:30 Eastern Time you can observe a "moment of silence" knowing that there very well be four less Spanish olives in the world.

I just had a Bombay martini here in Frostburg, but with no olives (I usually have 3). So, cheers!
