The Gathering in the Garden State
I'm in Gettysburg now on the hotel's business computer
.
Thanks to Ken, Yoon-hee, Rob, Liz, Ed, Joann and everyone else who had a hand in making this weekend possible. I'm glad I attended. Pics and more when I finally get my ass home
.
I'm going for a beer or six.
Phil.

Mmmmm - Gettysbrew?

I'm surprised this computer in the hotel isn't used more

I don't post here often but on occasions like this I hope you all find it appropriate. If not, please let me know. I just want to add to what Rob said about bringing the S2000 communities together, regardless of where they may spend most of their time online. It's all good as far as I am concerned and I look forward to seeing more meets that are all inclusive regardless of what group is hosting it.
I was really hoping to attend this event but I had to make a decision between this an opportunity to spend 10 days of photog fun in Alaska (first time for me) and balance that with my remaining vacation time at the day job. After meeting the NJ/NY crew earlier this year along with some of the other entusiasts that don't mind driving a few hours North, you guys and gals made it a tough choice.
Anyway - I just want to say that I wish I could have made it work. I would really have enjoyed seeing everyone having fun and enjoying the weekend as well as making new friends.. And I really mean everyone.

I don't post very often here, but just wanted to say that it was great to meet several of the Vintage members at The Gathering!
Thanks to Ed, Ken, Rob and all of the other members that put together a great event!
