After lehman bros chapter 11 and merrill lynch sale to BofA. the markets are opening off 90.
the good news is crude is at $95. a barrel.

I've been doing my best to keep my head in the sand. I told my investment guy that I'm not worried because I'm not touching my money for years so I don't need to worry about the day-to-day stuff. Starting to wonder about that.

Ah...good news indeed. My 401K mutuals should be getting really good prices on equities purchased during the next few weeks.

I put some $$ into a 12 month CD a couple weeks ago. Doesn't go up much but at least it's not going down.

That's the only thing to do. I have always looked at a five year window. As long as the stocks in your portfolio are solid they will likely come back. People lose money by panic selling.

So far other than early dip, people are buying.... maybe all the panic sellers have already sold.
