Getting into your S2000
I'm sitting here on my 55th birthday and began to wonder:
How do others who are not so flexible anymore get into their S2000?
I'm about 6' and weigh about 200# and getting into the car can be a bit problematic.
I've tried a couple of variations, but they all seem a bit, shall we say, awkward.....
1) Sit and turn. This works well when the top is up, but I find it necessary to use the handbrake to help rotate my legs in.
2) Put 1 leg in and slide my rear down the seat. This works better with the top down, but I worry about tearing up the seat.
So how do you get in your S2000?

I sit and turn but I'm only 5'5".
BTW, cdubea, I looked at your profile and see you just joined S2ki today. Welcome and welcome to the Vintage Owners (over 40 crowd).
Did you just buy your 2008 NFR?
Oh, and
Chris!

I'm 6-3 and about 220. Have to sit first and pull in one leg at a time (oh, also 55). Much easier when the hard top is off the car. When it is on I have to make sure I don't hit the back of my head when I'm sitting down. Also, welcome to the Vintage Owners.
Yes, Happy Birthday! I notice you've been posting some on the Mid-A forum, also. Welcome! As for getting in and out of the car, I don't have a problem yet, but I'm only 5'4" although pretty old.
Must be a lot harder for you taller, bigger guys. Not being able to get in/out seems to be the barometer for when to sell the car.
