We have just booked the hotel and registered. You are getting us trained Ken.
We plan to arrive in Gettysburg on Wed. Sept 23. Does anyone have suggestions as to what we should go and see on the Thursday?

Go to the Visitor's center and take the battlefield tour (if it's running). Lot's of background on the battle, the war and the people caught up in it.

I just spoke to the people at Holiday Inn Express and there have been no reported cases of Covid-19 there for over a month. That doesn't mean we won't take precautions but it does seem to mean that Gettysburg might be one of the more safe places to go and have a good time. I'm looking forward to seeing you in Gettysburg in September.

I'll pull the list together some time today and post it. Appears to be small this year but that's understandable due to all the restrictions from Covid-19.

There's a Saturday drive, a group dinner on Saturday night, a lunch drive on Friday. Denny and Sharon will give a battlefield tour on Sunday. Other than that, not much.

We just got home from there on September the 1st... Stayed in the Burg, while attending Corvettes at Carlisle...Pretty much everything is open...
