Check out RM, Jerry. They are upscale and sell cars for eye popping numbers.

Can you get a direct flight from Logan > PHX, Bill? I was thrilled to avoid a change of planes and related potential winter weather problems...

There are direct flights from Phoenix to Manchester, Providence, Hartford and Boston Logan on Southwest. Whenever I go to Worcester, I have a pretty good choice of times.

BTW, my new boss was a professional racer for many years. He always drove Porsches. He may be out for the weekend, so I'll take him to the auction. The auction is at Westworld, which is about 15 minutes from my house.

Russo and Steele is not far from Westworld, probably less than 10 minutes by car. I don't know where RM is being held. There is usually another auction at the Univ. of Phoenix stadium, but that is across town. For all you types not familiar with across town, that is about 30 miles and about 45 minutes without traffic from Scottsdale.

it's not to late to take up golf Bill, there's an awful lot of nice courses out in Scottsdale.
I can't speak for LB, after all he is a lawyer, but I don't know a single 'car guy' in my network that's into playing golf. In fact, I have never been on a golf course and have no interest to do so.

LB, enjoy yourself watching the fools toss away big money. I've only attended once in Auburn IN and could not believe how many poorly prepared cars claimed to be the real deal but most of the buyers did not know the difference. And the high end cars were so over priced it made my eyes water.

Dave, I will not be registered to bid. That would be too dangerous.

Jerry, I have plenty of direct flights to choose from Boston.

Val, Levi, Jim, Morris, thanks for the good wishes. I really am looking forward to this.

Silvershadow, RM is being held at the Biltmore in Phoenix. Like I said, they are high end. Maybe we can meet up?

Dave, I need to find a way to get those buyers to throw their money my way. Wouldn't it be great to find a way to make a few bucks in retirement on classic cars without crushing your knuckles?

John and his wife are nice folks. I hope that I can also get together with them again Their home is also very close to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen West, which is very interesting to visit...albeit a little $$$
