Going up?
It was a $1.33 at a Kroger for regular in Jackson, TN today, which is the lowest I have seen. I think we all know it is going back up. The question is how high and how fast. Nevertheless, I think it will stay near 2 bucks over the next 6-9 months.

OPEC said they're slashing output, which will drive pricing up, conservation or not.
I'll be "supremely" interested to see if the huge outpouring of approval for offshore drilling from "regular" folks will translate to actual offshore drilling. There has been some talk that the new congress will re-institute the offshore drilling ban. If they do, expect oil prices to sympathetically pop up.

We're at $1.94 for regular and $2.19 ( I think) for premium. I'm glad the price is still lower than it was and VERY thankful heating oil prices are still low. $1.69 in our area.
I've spent about $600.00 heating our home this year, and expect I'll top off the tank in late March, but I won't use much of that once the weather warms up. These prices are MUCH better than last year when we spent $1500 or $1600.00 for the winter.
