Default Goodbye 2018

As we close 2018 and look forward to 2019 I for one say good riddance to 2018! The year went very well until November. Patty, my +1, had a mammogram before we left for a cruise in the Mediterranean. Right few days before departure she got a message that they wanted to do an ultrasound to look at some anomalies. Well it couldn't be scheduled until after we returned so there was some, but not much, worrying during the trip. When we returned she had the ultrasound done and the test results came back with some bad comments in it. They made an appointment to see a surgical oncologist and an appointment for some needle biopsies. At the consultation the oncologist was fairly certain that it was cancer but she would have to see the results to be sure. We meet with her on the 3rd of January for the results and a treatment option.

2019, you are not looking all that great either!!!

Ugh...sorry to hear this. I had a core needle biopsy once. Not pleasant but necessary to confirm diagnosis. Fortunately, mine was negative. I hope you were not too distracted to enjoy your trip. I wish Patty and you the best whatever happens.

Scoots we just saw the short version of a similar movie.
Mammogram just before Xmas and then ultrasound then biopsy this past week.
Thankfully it was not cancerous but a long name I can't remember.
Followup in six months. Certainly does rock your world.
Good luck and hang in there.
