I'm a Resident Alien, does that count?

I really must finish that citizenship paperwork and send it in for processing.

When I first saw Close Encounters, I would have left on the starship in a heartbeat (I was 13). Then Whitley Streiber came along and turned the cute little aliens into anal probe fiends and ruined everything.

You're not allowed to do that.

OK, maybe you won't be able to drive an S2000 to a meet. But you can still hang around here, as I have.
We can hang together with our German cars. That is if I can bring myself to spend that much money on a car. My wife, god bless her, says go for it - you're not getting any younger. The practical side of me wants to wait a couple years for a nice used one but then the same side says who knows if you'll be around in a couple years. I never would have thought like that even a few years ago.

Diamond, get that paperwork in - I can see from all your posts that this country has been good to you.

You're right Dave, it has. I'm almost there. It's like filling in IRS forms. You think you know what they want, but you won't find out for a year or so until they look it over

I pass Paul Miller Porsche on Rt 46 every night. They have a number of them in front of the dealership. They even have a few leftover '06s. You could probably make a good deal.

When are you coming to New Jersey?

....
Do you mean Caymans, Rob

Maybe we could do a Group Buy

If it was a ragtop, I might even consider. As Dave said, you never know when the grim reaper will show up..... remember Marley's Ghost

Dave,

Over in the New England forum we have the Red German Car Club. Maybe we can start a Vintage chapter.

I hope to. Perhaps mid-winter if I can get a good deal from a Northern dealership. A reasonable trade-in combined with a reasonable profit would do it. I've been tied up with home remodeling and haven't been in too big a hurry to part with the money to put one in the garage. Rob, I completely agree with your feelings about the looks; there's just something special about the shape of that Porsche that talks to me. Perhaps that was the aliens that directed me to the first test drive.
Dave, PM Alex (Poindexter) about the Cayman. He just bought one in the past month or so. It's a beauty.

So is that why Britney asked for a divorce? She was leaving without Kevin.
