In recent years I seem to have cold feet now and again. Donna says it's a circulation problem. What ever. I've heard of heated socks, vests, jackets, etc. Then I heard of heated insoles which seemed like a better solution. No bulk in the toe area. No battery on the side. They heat the bottom of your feet instead of the top, which also made more sense to me. So I ordered a set. You actually cut them to fit the shoe size you wear. Given the price that's a little intimidating but I did it. I don't see myself walking around with these on but if I planned to sit outside like at a football game on a freezing night I could see slipping them in when I get there. I bought a loose fitting pair of slippers for $7 that work perfect for sitting around at home. They plug into a iPhone style charger. 3 temp settings with a remote. I selected this brand after watching a few YouTube videos. There are others that cost less. Tonight they got their first test. After riding around on the mower in thirty degree weather my feet were cold. They worked great.
Neat gadget! Cold feet here too. Around the house I often wear two pair of socks. Once it gets cold out, I wear hiking shoes if spending time outside.
Its hard to keep extremities warm on a cold day. I keep hand warmers in my camera bag
