Customer: My PC isn't working
Support: - Is your PC plugged in?
Customer: Let me get a flashlight to look, the power is currently out.

D'oh!

A interesting spear phishing attempt.
First the sender email address is from a .org address domain NOT a .gov domain... red flag here.
next the click the link address goes off to "https://drive.usercontent.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1MRVRhl6QGkCoU0bIFhNXF2RjOwGC2tBs&export=download" not a .gov address but somebodies own account.
also the download instruction in the address is trying to download and run a script.

remember always login into the destination site yourself with an address you TRUST not an embedded link.

Yeah, I just bought a new computer. It's called a 2025 BMW X5 and it's a PITA. I really would like to know and see what my odometer reading is and what my current MPG is. It's going to take more work. I love cars from the 2015 time frame.

Did the saleswoman not spend time with you reviewing the features on the car?

They have a special guy do that job and I did get his help. I can go back anytime and get more. I was totally exhausted the night I purchased it so I wasn't absorbing anything. I just need the time to sit inside with the owner's manual to play with it. Maybe tomorrow.
