Pooooor Dave. All ready to come out and play and no one else on the playground. We celebrated our anniversary at a wonderful restaurant on Pawley's Island last night, The Mayor's House. I'd highly recommend it. We topped off our feast with Cherries Jubilee which they made at the table. Fortunately for us the flames stayed where they should have and the Cherries Jubilee desserts were marvelous. Yum.

What is that 'pink' thing in front of the restaurant? A care-bear lobster rabbit from the swamps down there?

I wondered about that too. The last time I checked, lobstering isn't so great down here. Apparently their signature dish is fried lobster . Southerners fry almost everything and butter the rest. We did NOT order fried lobster. The interior was quite nice and the food was great. We loved it.

^^ Thanks, MsP. I was pretty much going to let this one ride and not really do anything, but I was humbled by +1's comment, "of course we need to celebrate our anniversary . . . it's the anniversary of the best day of my life." Awwww, he's so sweet.
