With e-mail, I just click on the one I want, copy it (not the address, just the emoticon) and paste. Works like a charm. I guess I'll get weary of it sometime, but I love emoticons.
Right now, this is my favorite one of the season.
Now back to our scheduled program.
Weren't we discussing how old Rob and Matt are?

By the way, what happened with your drove that Lotus to make your dream vanish?
I have driven two and half ton trucks with a lighter clutch than that car.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. It helps make up for the really crummy birthday that I had forty-two years ago today when JFK was assassinated.
I really enjoy being part of this community.
I hope that all of you have a very nice and Happy Thanksgiving Holiday with your family and/or friends.
Warm regards,
Matt

I would guess that the girl of your childhood dreams looses some of her charm over the years.
I am reminded that I had a "thing" for Lotus Europa's ever since Mrs. Peel drove one in the TV series "The Avengers". Then in 1969 while attending a three hour SCCA Endurance Race at Bridgehampton. I fell in love with the Europa S-2. The version that had a Renault twin cam powerplant and 1G cornering capability. Lap after lap it would appear over the crest of the last right hand turn onto the front straight glued to the rear bumber of a Z-28 that would just muscle away from it down the long front straight. The track a Bridgehampton was kidney shaped, and on can see the back straight from the paddock. By the time that they exited the twisties the S-2 would be right back up behind the Z-28 again.
Then, back in the early 90's I got a chance to drive a Lotus Europa. The dream car vanished! As the saying goes never drive your dream car. Gee Rob, I wonder where Annette is today?

Emma Peel. I was in love every Sunday night at 11:30. Forget the car, I just looked at her.
