Is there an award? The wife bought 150 full sized candy bars (baby ruth, payday, etc.) and we have 15 left.

The lady I live with loves her holidays, like this. We have stuff in the living room, kitchen, family room, hallway, bathroom, porch, lawn, etc. Just a couple examples... to be continued.

(I give up, it does not want to load the pics)

Things like this are all around the house... where's my fly swatter?

This fire burns every year.

She made this and my job is to light the lamp.

I have a family member who counts, a friend too. We don't count. I toss candy in a bowl, and pass it out...I always have left overs.

Nice grandkid photos!

Watched the entire baseball game, not one trick-or-treater. Around the 5th inning, I even forgot it was Halloween.

Now, this year's XMAS commercials will go full tilt.

We had one group of 5 young girls and another of two boys but that was it. Last year we had no trick or treaters. I think there are two reasons we've had so few kids come to our door. First, there hasn't been a very big turnover in our neighborhood, and most of the houses have older kids or the kids are away at college. Now that the housing market is starting to rebound in our area a few houses have been sold to younger people with younger kids. Second, in our community there has been a big push for something called "Trunk or treat" on the Saturday night preceding Holloween. I think most parent of young kids prefer trunk or treat.

we're a quarter mile off of the street, down the hill, through the creepy dark woods before you get to our house.
in 18 years a total of 3 trick or treaters.
