Correct on both counts. Of course she was also the first woman to receive a Nobel. But I think the accomplishment I mentioned is even greater. What an amazing person.

Sorry for leaving out the part about how strong the Ukrainian women are to flee their homeland with their children and the clothes on their backs. Please excuse my oversight, as almost two million have fled there country not knowing what is ahead of them.

This little cutie is living in a great time of so many opportunities being available to women. Love her t shirt! She's five and was in a science fair this week!

I never thought of the corporation where I spent my career as being restrictive to women. 50% of all the people I supervised were women. We had women that were meter readers, bill collectors (a dangerous job), and all the other jobs related to gas and electric utility work. The one exception might be a lineman (as dangerous and difficult job as there was). I reported to a woman for a good share of my time. The current President of the corporation is a woman. We did not have all political correctness companies expect now where you can't say anything that might offend. But other than that, the door's were wide open.

I actually had a boss tell me that it was a good idea to hire women because you didn't have to pay them that much! He was an a$$!
