Default Happy Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY,

MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP,
MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY
HAVE NARY A LUMP,

MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS,
MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE,
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER
STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS.

Now back to that yankee stuffing and trying to make it not taste like glue!

Good luck with that. The birds are on the smoker; now it's just a matter of time. I've got to make a pone of bread in a little while so Barb can make the dressing.

Happy Thankgiving, everybody! I'm on my way to Austin to join the family for the day. Enjoy the Yankee dressing, y'all; those Pilgrims were Yankees, weren't they?
But still, today is a day for suthin cookin'!

Yep, and those Pilgrims were Johnny-Come-Latelies compared to my Maine Yankee ancestors. And unlike those oddly dressed tight-asses, my ancestors had sense enough to come from northern Britain.

Its time for the annual Thanksgiving joke.

Please stay inside today.
You know what they do to turkeys on Thanksgiving, don't you?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone (just remember to stay inside.)

Mine came from Sweden and stopped at Greenland.
