I think it depends on what you get for free.

Buy One Cavalier, Get One Corvette Free. I'd sign up for that

IIRC one local dealer is advertising the really small car (Aveo?) for ~$5,000 after rebates.

I've got more in mods than that!

Not to bad. . . . . Buy one - use the other one for parts!

Never drove a Cosworth Vega - that was the one that had that pimp black and gold look and the twincam stickers that was so popular back then, right? (TransAm, Capri etc... )

The one that smoked me had blackwall tires w/ the little half mood hubcaps, notchback body style and after I saw the rear of the car a really big diff stuffed under the car and dual turbo style mufflers.

Can't forget to mention the small block rumble

There was a Nissan dealer here on Route 46 in Northern New Jersey offering a "Buy an new 2004 Nissan, get a used 2003 Nissan free". The offer was in the papers and on the radio last week.

Right. They had a 4 banger built by Cosworth (one of the few non-Ford projects they did at the time). Same time period as the Lotus pickup truck (Europa) and same John Players Special F1 team paint schemes.
