On the plus side, we had 27 degrees today and 27 degrees never felt so good! Some of the snow actually started to melt. Tomorrow we are supposed to move above freezing.

I like suprising SUV's by my S2000's good handling in the snow Blizzak's Rule
But, I am happy to report as my daily driving the Dunlop's work pretty well. Last Monday on my way back from Long Island I had an occasion to stop for gas along the NJ Turnpike and as fate would have it had the occasion to drive down a lane in the parking lot that had yet to be plowed. Even though the snow was scaping the undercarraige the Dunlop M-2's did an admirable job of getting me through it for about a hundred yards.
I was is snowing here this evening as well. On my way home from running errands, I gased it a couple of times, to test road conditions and traction and they are very perdictable. Unlike the S-02's that are absolutely SCARY in the snow.

I'm looking forward to some warmer weather. It always seems that the last 6 or 8 weeks or winter seem to drag , but that is where we are at right now.
It won't be much longer and we will be again!

For me at this point I have made it through the worst part of winter. Dec. and Jan. are when we get ice/wind, freezing rain etc. and it's just a gigantic P.I.T.A.! Feb. + March while still cold are generally enjoyable with everything blanketed in white and we always get those occasional couple of days of warm sunny weather.
We have a fifth season here in Vt to get through it is called mud season. It occurs in the spring when all the snow melts, once we get through that it's time to take the S out.

My sister used to live in St. Johnsbury, VT. I've seen your mud season. NOT pretty!
We visted her ONCE in the month of Janaury while she lived there and learned a lesson.......too cold. We also went once in mud season, Yuck, and once in black fly season.....OUCH.
Thankfully she moved south a bit to NH!

[quote name='matt_inva' date='Jan 29 2005, 09:46 PM']I am happy to report that the deal that I ran across here on line for a set of OEM wheels with a set of Dunlop M-2 snow tires has worked out well.
