Default hello again

Some ofyou may have noticed my absence the last three months. I have been in the hospital. I had an appendectomy in mid September and have been in the hhospital ever since. I got an e-coli systemic infection, spent 6 weeks in icu, then a month at an acute care facility, and am now at a rehab hospital. The good thing is I lost 70 pounds. The bad thing is a lot of it was muscle. Currently, I cannot walk unaided, and I need assistance standing, but I am still above ground.

John Glad to hear you are progressing.

What a scary time you have had. Wow! An appendectomy took a wrong turn for sure.

John, that's scary what you've been through and are still going through! I'm glad you've come through it and are on the repair.

OMG!!! So glad you're posting again and that you are on the road to recovery. Very saddened to hear of your ordeal! It is frightening to think that one could endure such a terrible ordeal from an appendectomy. Please stay in touch and post when you can to let us know how your recovery progresses.

^^ Wow, you lost 70 lbs!?! So...you're a mere (silver) shadow of your former self?

Glad you're still above ground, and doing better now.
