If you can find a 78 rpm version of this record you'll have something worth quite a few thousand dollars. Only 200 were ever pressed and only 4 or 5 are known to exist. It is considered to be the rarest of all the R & B 78s ever made. It's not my favorite version of this great song, but I wish I had the 78.

Dave Bartholomew died at the age of 100. He was a producer, arranger, writer and trumpet player and a mainstay of New Orleans R & B. He was active from the 1940s until recently and worked with many of music's greats. He was elected to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame n 1991.
