I was there 9 years before going out to run the show in Bermuda, I have applied for a position as the "relief" Captain, meaning that I'll be rotating in to take over for the "permanent" Captain (and probably the Chief Mate as well) on longer deployments. I may also be helping out with some of the logistics/planning for the longer deployments.

We still have some wildflowers, purple, yellow, and some big red daisy-like ones. Or we did: while eating dinner, we watched a small herd of deer browse through the yard, and they bit off the tops of all those red ones, like you'd bite off the tip of an asparagus stalk. If we weren't in town, I'd be thinking venison. Grump grump. HPH

Kyras and Spokesman from CA are coming tomorrow. I will probably drive up 550 with them on Monday to see the colors. So far it has been a very mild fall here, 40s during the day, but not very cool at all. So the high country is where the aspens are turning right now. I plan to go up to Grand Mesa if I have time.

Got room for one more Dr. C? I'm with you.
Hope you're enjoying your Colorado retreat. I envy you seeing those beautiful aspens turning.

under there.
