Default HO train set up.....

Not everyone bothers with the odds and ends picture thread and I thought this may be of interest to others as well. So I'll start a new thread. Didn't always get quite the shot I wanted, but you'll get the pic...

My brother in law has a pretty neat HO train set up. It takes up about two walls on one side of his basement.. He worked on this set up over a period of 4+ years while my sister was in law school. Today I took the grandchildren there to see it. The grandson was most impressed, he especially liked the sound and the little steam locomotive.

Bridges, lumber yards, smoke stacks, trucks, trees, and trains, he's got it all!

I've always loved model railroads! Your BIL has done a fantastic job! Wish I had the patience and skills to do the same.

Gene, he's a real creative guy. He also builds furniture. Quite talented.

I should have taken his pic with my grandson.

Yeah, that is nice. I had an "N" guage setup once, but not as nice as that.

I'm quite impressed with the detail of the whole lay out. Lots of time and patience required. I wouldn't last an hour.
