Well besides playing with cars and autocrossing and track days... I like to build things (remodeling, wood working, etc) when I have time.
Also like to grow a garden but looking like we will not this summer due to likely not being around enough and also likely selling our house.
I play guitar, but not nearly enough lately but that is a hobby of mine too.
We (wife and I) play a lot of disc golf in the spring/summer/fall with a few outings over the winter.
Camping as well but have not done enough of it in the past few years. Trying to change that this year

that's dedication. If I don't touch a model, its there tomorrow. If Rick misses a day or two, plants die, flowers die, food doesn't grow. Lainey doesn't get her veggies!

Not sure I could have a hobby that requires that level of interaction. Isn't that called "work"?

It does require a lot of work especially mid April going into May. Plants get larger, need water often, lights to be adjusted. He just moved some to lower level and adjusted the timer on the light. The plants are getting a bit big and we've got at least 5 weeks until planting.

If we go away for more than two nights, we need a plant sitter. AND a cat sitter. Generally speaking we don't travel too much in April and May. Gardens are always a work in progress and there is a lot of luck involved, as well as potential for errors. Some years are better than others, even from the beginning. He's had issues getting decent begonia plants to grow for a couple years. This year's plants are looking better. When he puts the plants outside to get them ready for planting, that's when errors happen. Underestimate how much sun, get unexpected wind and you can come home to several flats of flowers or veggies that won't make it into the ground. It's a labor of love for him. He got the green thumbs from his Dad, who was a graduate of the local agricultural high school. I'm still amazed at how involved he got with this stuff. Real men wear pink and grow flowers. See photo thread for pink....

Lainey, does the cat bother the tender young plants?

Funny you ask that. Our previous cat, Thelma did like eating the nice tiny shoots of greenery, and even larger plants now and again. Last year Rick bought netting to put around the plant stands, it worked. Thelma isn't with us any longer and our new kitty, Morgan, has only bothered with them once. Out of all the cats we've had, she's the least curious. When we went away last weekend, Rick did "close" them off with the netting. No damage was done in our absence.

By the way, that's just one of two plants stands, he hasn't even planted all the veggies yet. He does give away some plants.

The plant stands are in the dining area of the kitchen/dining room. There's enough room, but we take the leaf out of the dining table to give us extra space.
Rick grows, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, green peppers and zucchini. He gave up on full size tomatoes as they may not have been getting enough sun and seemed to just not ripen. The cherry tomatoes are ready for picking not long after the cucumbers which makes for good salads. Flowers he grows, pansies which will be planted soon. Vinca (flowers not the vine) nice color flower does not require a lot of watering and love heat. Begonias, zinnia, coleus, marigolds, salvia (hummingbirds like those) I may be forgetting something....

Surprise after surprise on this one. So box one had 613 pieces - it took me about 90 minutes to sort through it and get a sense of the colors, parts, etc.. involved. There's about 10 pages of intro in the first book. Each one has a QR code that brings you here: https://www.lego.com/en-us/campaigns/lamborghini-sian with little videos of the process and relationship with Lego and Lamborghini.

Just watch the first one to get a sense of the whole thing.
