Once the "red mist" of having him as our current president subsides, time will show that his administration has done some amazing things.
Is that you, Pollyanna?

Afghanistan, universal drug benefit, Libya, gaining seats at every election...it's already happening Dean. We'll be adding partial ownership of social security funds this year.

I'm willing to wait four years for Iraq and meaningful dialogue with Palestine to bear fruit. It will happen.

I wonder if he or any of his cronies had there hands in "Food for Oil" scandal? It will be interesting to see how that all plays out.
Well, if you read this article CNN put out on their website yesterday, the outrage of the administration the the neo-cons over the shocking corruption at the UN sure seems a bit hollow...

How many stupid MBA's have you met from Yale?
Not a single one. Which has probably to do with the fact that Yale did not offer an MBA until very recently; when I looked into grad school they were offering a Master of Public Management or something like that (arguably, that was 10 years ago. I don't know when they actually started offering an MBA -- according to their website they do now).

And just as an aside, Dubya received his MBA from Harvard.

I never did have much respect for their program.

Really I thought it was from Yale. Then me rephrase that.

How many stupid Harvard MBA's do you know?

You'd be surprised... Of course I may be biased.

(Note also how I said he "received" his MBA from Harvard. I did not say he "earned" it...)

What, no world peace and a cure for male pattern baldness?
We're all done in Afghanistan? Where's Osama?
Universal drug benefit - I can get better discounts through AARP, or getting myself a club membership from Ed McMahon on late night television. At least they can negotiate for lower prices.
Libya is a yawner.
What do I care if Republicans gain seats? That in itself does absolutely nothing for me. I prefer quality over quantity, and having some checks and balances in place.
Social Security - I can hardly wait to see where the money is going to come from to administer the program. Just what we need, yet another bloated bureaucracy and more red tape. That'll fix it.
I'll take a pass on the optimism pipe when it comes to world affairs too. A four year engagement in Iraq a well planned as it is. Oh boy! I can hardly wait to see what the Morton Downey Jr. of foreign policy can do with another four years.

Surely, you aren't suggesting that someone could make it all the way through college and obtain a degree without having actually earned it. Say it ain't so.

Vintage Sour Grapes
Since I don't frequent the other forums (intestinal fortitude having nothing to do with it), I'll make my post here.
It may be a case of sour grapes for some, but I felt pretty much the same way about Bush when he was governor. Then he got elected for president and we ended up with his retarded drone of a Lt. Governor, Rick "I Bend Over for the Insurance Lobby and Other Special Interests" Perry. For the record, I was never a Kerry supporter. When it came to voting, I preferred to vote for the devil that I didn't know than the devil I did know.
I may be bitter, but it ain't from grapes.
