So this whole deal has more to do with the Democrats' failures than with the Republicans' successes - an interesting definition of accomplishment. Who's counting on Kennedy to do anything? My life would go on just fine if that old dinosaur retired from public life.

Not so. There is no case law to support what you are saying. From time to time, the IRS chooses not to pursue the issue, and sometimes it falls between the cracks, but when push comes to shove, there is no basis for not having to pay your taxes. It is a myth.

 

Leave my root out of this. I ain't concentratin' on nothin' but the inside of my eyelids in about twenty minutes.

I was just thinking about concentrating on that very same thing. I have to work tomorrow and Sunday. Tax season you know. Somebody's got to help to bring in the money to pay for Rummy's much needed weapon systems.

Look at the bright side of things, if you guys on the right get your way and get your flat tax, I'll have much more time to post from January to April. Maybe you're all better off like this.
