Default Howdy from Texas!

Jim wanted me to stop by and say hi, so here I am!

Despite my screenname, it's been many years since my days in med-school. I'm not vintage, but one of my cars is

1965 Honda S600

A tad slower than my S2000s or the Formula 3 racecar, but should be just as fun Jim, if you want to sit in it and try it out, feel free to. Just ask Curt to pop off the hardtop.

Hi Med Stu - I have one too but not NEARLY as nice as yours
http://hondas600.com
Trying to decide to sell or keep at the moment - lots of work to restore one.
Do I know you in real life? (Ellen / HondaBeat.com)
Do you know Brian in NY? (HondaSportsRestry.com)

Hi Ellen! I've known about your project for a few years now. Was saddened to hear from dlq04 that you were thinking about selling your car. If you're willing to part out, was wondering if you have a list of what you have for sale?

Spoke with Brian (S600-guru) on the phone before. Seems like a real nice guy.

Sale is on hold at least temporarily... Brian has offered to store all my parts/chassis and work on the car with me. He does not do body work though so I am still in the market for that.

And I have to face moving all that "stuff" from VT to NY - 4 hours - very heavy stuff. Also have to have a talk with X about this as it is all stored in his garage right now... <cringe>

Are you originally from Texas or just went to medical school there? No matter, welcome anyway. It's just that we Texans stick together on this forum. Hi, I'm Granny from San Antonio. Welcome aboard!

Mine is in decent condition, but the shiny stuff could use some re-chroming and there are a few chips showing the true color of the car (red). Still debating on just doing a preservation (get it running well) or do an outright restoration. I don't think anything's missing. I'm still trying to get my parts car that came with the deal (stuck in Canada). Glad to hear you're keeping the car. If you do change your mind, give me a holler!
