How's the eyesight?
I hear ya about the no line, but I have spent the last 20-years of my life trying to increase the amount I see by being more aware of my peripheral and working hard to improve my brain's ability to process it, and suddenly telling my brain to only pay attention to one tiny spot in my glasses just seems counter intuitive.
The only big challenge for me has been getting in the habit of using safety goggles, you see it's when I have to do close work that I take off the my regular glasses which are safety glasses leaving me unprotected, so nowadays, I have safety glasses in both the garage and the woodshop.

Hi there, Mr. Magoo here. I would have responded to this post, but I couldn't see well enough to find the computer.

Tony!
The scary thing for me is that my Virginia drivers license was due to expire next month on my Birthday. Virginia now charges a $5 fee to renew in person. So I re-newed on line. I received my new license by clicking that I need corrective lenses (in my case Contact Lenses, without an eye test) The last time that I renewed in person was five years ago and by the time that need to renew again it will have been thirteen years since my last eye test.
As I life long driving "student / enthusiast" in the "ART" of driving. Yes. Some of us consider it an "art form". The saddest day of my life is when I get to the point that I realize that I should stop driving. The even sadder part is many people that are unconsciously incompetent as drivers do NOT even realize it and that is why IMHO according to AAA surveys that 85% of American Drivers consider them selves above average drivers.
Think about that statistic?
And compare it to your experience on the road.
That is one of the JOYS that I get about driving with my fellow S2000 owners. As I have mentioned before at our Vintage meets one could be standing by the edge of the road with a stop watch and it has been my experience that if they clicked it as every car passed they would find the two second rule interval between virtually every vehicle. (with some rare exceptions)
