Default Hullabaloo on PBS

Just surfing the guide and came across old Hullabloo footage on PBS. I was too young to see these acts when the show was out, but at least I could watch them on TV. It is funny to see how they dressed back then. Certainly a different time.

This was in 1965 so as with any teen thought the Hullabaloo dancers were soooooo Hot! Also like the other show Shindig.

Yeah, I was ten years old when the show came out, but I still like the dancers. I was looking at the sets they used for each act. You can see how the producers were trying to add some atmosphere to the acts and their songs. It really was a precursor to MTV.

I have watched both the Hullabaloo PBS thing and it does bring back memories. My brother is 5 years older than I am so I did watch Hullabaloo and Shindig and Bandstand (from Phila.) and the Lloyd Thaxton show......Oh and yes, the dancers.

As to dress, give it 20 and it will look as silly as it did in the 80s.

Tonight I'm watching a 1968 film called The Rolling Stones Rock Circus. It includes a set with John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Keith Richards. I never knew those three played together on the same stage. Sadly Yoko joined in and that wrecked everything.
