Default Hurricane Charley video

For those of you with broadband (or dial-up with a LOT of patience) head on over to this web site:

HurricaneTrack.Com

There's a video of Hurricane Charley taken by these guys, beginning with the leading edge of the storm and ending with the eye overhead. More will be posted later in the week. It's a 22MB download so right click and save to your hard drive before playing it.

Scary stuff!!!

The guy that shot the video was interviewed on the radio this morning here in Chicago. He said part two is of the eye passing by and the backside of the hurricane. He said that was much worse.

His partner was in Punta Gordo and shot video as they got slammed. He said for a short while his partner wasn't sure they would survive.

My longest friendship that I have is with a guy that I have known since about age five. We grew up together in NYC. He is now a Lieutenant (EMT) with the Punta Gorda Fire Department. As you know, Punta Gorda unfortunately got "put on the map" in most American's minds by this hurricane, because it took the brunt of Charley full force. I called his home on Saturday night and spoke with his son (who answered the phone) and then his wife. He, of course, was working. His family spent two very scary hours in their "safe room" in the middle of their house but were OK. But of course without electricity.

My question is: When is all the foreign aid especially from France and Germany going to arrive?
