I found a new cashback program
I started using Bing instead of Google a couple months ago, and I like it a lot.
I've been searching around for a netbook (ultra-small/light notebook), and after I researched and narrowed down the features I wanted, I went searching for reviews about some specific models that I had chosen. After searching for the specific model number, one of the links was "Shop for..<insert model name here>", and under it were 4 links to the netbook I was looking at, for prices that were lower than anywhere else. It turns out, that if you start through Bing, then shop at any number of other sites (in this case, TigerDirect, CompUSA, BestBuy..) you can get up to 10% cash back. I already have a MS Live account, so signing up is very easy. I purchased the netbook I wanted, plus a case, and a new HD for my work laptop. I should be getting over $40 back within 60 days.
Cool.

WOW your kidding right?
My bank has signed up with some businesses that are supposed to save you money if you shop at their online stores. I haven't used it yet, but if I do use it in the future, I'll let you know if it is a savings or just a gimmick.

I have a decent desktop, my work provides a good notebook, and I gave my other notebook to Virginija. I wanted to get something super-portable for S2K meets, the Homecoming trip, etc.
I ended up ordering an Acer Aspire One AO532H-2326. It has the newer N450 Atom chip, which uses less power than its predecessor, so this netbook is supposed to get 8-10 hours on a charge. It's one of the smallest netbooks I found that still has a 250GB drive. It's also upgradable to 2G RAM, which I already have on order from Crucial.com (great place for RAM upgrades).
