Did you ever have the little "flying saucer" candy? Had little candies in between two wafers that tastes like "hosts." We used to play "Church" with them as kids.

No never heard of them, but you have peaked my interest. They sound good. I like bread and crackers and wafers , so those candies are up my alley I think. Playing Church is funny, lol.

I worked for a company for 25 years that manufactured Gore-Tex as a Quality engineer then as a manufacturing engineer. They were and still are a very successful company. I loved working there. When I retired I worked eight years for a start up on line Stationery company. It was owned by the daughter of one of the original DuPonts. We started out small and I set up quality systems and shipping for them. I loved working for her and her co-owner hubby. I left there, moved to the beach and started up a detailing company 16 years ago. I am the owner and have no employees. I asked my wife to work with me and she said we have been happily married for 56 years so let’s keep it going.

I would like to change a number of things in my life but just the slightest change would change where I am at now and with a few exceptions I wouldn't want to change that!

I was never driven by the goals of money or power. I worked for 33 years at a gas and electric utility with 2M customers in various management positions with numerous titles. After hitting a comfortable middle management position, I turned down promotions – a decision that made my entire work experience most enjoyable. A week after hitting 60 I retired.

I've never been ambitious. I just floated along with no big goals. I was very unhappy and didn't have friends in high school. I was surprised when I actually got a BS. I just kept going to school to avoid working at McDonald's or cleaning in a hospital, which I did. I wanted to be a teacher until I found out how poorly they were paid so I just decided to get my BS in Physics and see what job I could find, after thinking that was a better major than math, which is what I started with. I loved Physics because it was math with a reason or application, instead of the foreign language that math turned into the higher the class level. I always wondered what kind of job I could have gotten if I stayed with math. Anyway, I got a job (1981) that I liked with General Dynamics/Convair Division on the flight test team for Tomahawk cruisemissiles, in San Diego. I assembled reports after a flight test and looked at data during one. It worked out paying my bills. I never wanted to get married or have kids. I did get married and then wanted kids. I quit working in 1987 and stayed home to raise my kids. I loved that job. I liked being a homemaker. I'm proud of how my daughter and son have turned out. I don't use my brain as much as I would like to but that's fixable. I do enjoy volunteering since I get to take off when I want to but I get to help people on a regular basis.
