Val, this one's for Jim.

Hoping a few prayers will help out in dealing with his "misdeeds". May save him a few bucks too.
He needs all he can get Lainey. He's NOT a type A personality, yet he married one . I am a bundle of energy from the time I awaken (which is normally VERY early) until I go to bed at night (very late). I awaken rather grouchy until I have at least two cups of espresso and he awakens smiling and drinks no coffee type beverages of any kind. I do work very hard and do a lot more physical work than many of my contemporaries, but I am a very intense person. He is rather laid back, rarely loses his temper (I can't remember where mine was to begin with ) and we make quite a pair. He is the absolute joy and love of my life and he is the ONLY person I think could ever live happily with me. Despite the lack of his ability to admit that he's ever wrong, I totally forgive him any little misdeeds he may commit.

It is, Patty. I don't know many people who would put up with, let alone, encourage me in the activities, etc. that I enjoy with S2ki, the idiocy with the car cleaning, waxing, maintenance, tires, etc. that I'm a fanatic about. He told the dealer at the Honda Garage that I dust my car engine more than I dust my house (duhhhh, well, yeah). He loves to see me laugh and have fun with the S2kers and seems to not mind sitting in the beeyatch seat all the time. He also doesn't seem to mind my love affair with my big bulldog, my hobbies (yard, flower gardening, pottery, art, etc., etc.), so I'm quite blessed and I know it. He has no faults and is never wrong.

Val - you are a lucky Lady!

Personally, I have faults, I am sometimes wrong, and I have a great +1 who never says "I Told You So" when many times, she could!

A lesson I learned early in life is that when you are wrong, if you step up to the plate, admit it, and apologize, things will go better in the long run. This thread is evidence of that. I know I can be in deep doo-doo with my +1, but if I admit I messed up, and apologize, I get back about 1/2 the points I lost.

I prefer to shoot straight. I prefer to admit when I am wrong, and get it over and done, even if sometimes it takes me a bit to realize, myself, that I was wrong.

So Granny, now that I'm through spanking myself, how do I go about tenderizing those chickens???

Dave

Apparently, I've "checked out" or more than just Gettysburg -
I have made the correction - my apologies to all.
There's still room.

You're already doing a superb job with the only chicken that matters, Park and you've got the best meat tenderizer I know with that "I was wrong" line. Keep up the good work.

Val, you're a riot. Just watching and reading about you and (our) Jim make me so happy. That and the fact that you share him with me up to a point.

Valentine: Are you referring to the topic that came up on Friday night at the bar during the Nor'Easter?
