Up the street from me, at one of my fave restaurants, the best thing on the menu is a shrimp and grits appetizer! It's shrimp with a Cajun sauce served over the grits. Yummy!!

And I love Wilmington...that's probably where I would live after New Bern. I have some friends there. Eliot - One of them is a long-time resident and was in the homebuilding business there. He might be a good contact for you. PM me if you want info.
