a lot of s2000 owners hit pole stumps or poles and get away very well...

if a 350z hit a pole it would be cut in half. It has very bad side crash test...

good to hear your fine..and lucky...

Now you need a bump on the other side of your head to balance out. Glad to hear you are ok. Car totaled?

Glad to hear you are O.K.! Sorry to see your car like that.

This is the second major side impact I have seen with an s2000 in the last month or so. Both you and the other guy pretty muched walked away with some bruises. Amazing the strength the s2000 has with side impacts.

Again Glad to hear you are O.K.!

The groans were audible when I saw your pictures. Thank God you weren't hurt, especially considering how close the metal was to the seat. Gives me a new respect for our car. You can always get another S, I'm sure your family is thankful too. Keep us posted.

Last December 15, I was on a group drive and slid off the road. The damage wasn't as great as yours, but the potential for bodily harm still existed.
My wife and I walked away without a scratch...those Honda engineers really did their homework designing this car.
I hope this doesn't put too much of a damper on your Holiday season, and that you're back behind the wheel soon.

I am very very glad you are OK -- here is a blurb on someone who is not, and I have since heard that he would have qualified (easily) as a Vintage member:

Elliot,

I live right around there as does ItalianBuckwheat and a few others. We might have known this person. Was he a member of s2ki?
